1. Bullying is no longer a serious issue in my school, unlike back then about 20 years ago. Such is no longer notoriously popular among students in my school as the school and the teacher have been actively involved in preventing it and educating students to treat their friends properly.
2. Certainly, it rises the awareness among students as it can lead to a fatal traumatic impact to the victims such as isolation or suicide.
3. Yes, it is absolutely necessary so that people can treat others properly and more politely. Moreover, the education about bullying can trigger students to be respectful to others.
4. Bullying can be serious if it leads to the frustration and eventually the death of the victim. Therefore, it can be considered as a crime, especially if it uses or involves brutality and violence.
5. Yes, bullying is one crucial issue in teenager's life that has caused suffering to them one way or another. The use of term 'cancer' suits it as it will grow worse unless it is eradicated, just like cancer, and it's not easy plus takes sometime.
6. Yes, cyber bullying is as bad as the physical one since it can lead to the same impact to the victims. Example: if someone bullies a girl's unattractive look in her picture or video in her social media, along with some others from all over the world with their long, many offensive comments, the girl could feel that she has been bullied by the whole world or even worse feel rejected and unworthy just because of her look/ outfit. She could end up trying to kill herself as she thinks that her life is meaningless and won't have any respect from others.
7. There are several things young people can do to prevent or stop bullying. Here are some of them:
- Always be positive, in mind, body and soul,which means never do anything negative that hurt other people's feeling, whatever it is, either the look, personality or attitude.
- Try to make friends with various background. This is a good way to understand others and the reason of them being or doing certain things that might be different from us. Bullying usually comes from the lack of tolerance and understanding to others.
- Always try to respect others, no matter how different they are from us, as long as they don't disturb our life, they have a right to choose the way of life they want.
